There is a link on the front page of our website for the Africa Blog. It is a fascinating way to follow our students as they work and travel through Tanzania.
Our enrollment numbers continue to climb! It's exciting to announce that seventh grade has reached 106, and we are also seeing significant growth in grades 8 & 9. We are committed to keeping our class sizes at optimal size for student learning, so we will add sections as needed.
A message from Father Ben Kociemba " I would like to announce a new opportunity for CHS students this year! It is a pilgrimage to Rome, July 20 - August 5, available for all 2015 juniors and graduating seniors. This will be an opportunity where students will be able to explore their faith, encounter the Church and Rome in its long history, see the Pope and experience a little Italian culture! The pilgrimage will be led by Patrick Flynn, Father Scott Pagatchnik and myself. We will be staying at the University of St. Mary campus in Rome where they will receive LARGELY discounted rooms and be able to receive two college credits for what they will be learning and experiencing. We will be having a parent and student information meeting on Sunday, August 17 at 7 PM in the conference room at CHS No need to be committed yet! We hope that you can join us on August 17th!

A couple weeks ago, we asked the Cathedral community to vote for 2014 graduate Gregg Boldt's video submission to Universal Technical Institute on Facebook. We are happy to announce that Greg won the scholarship! Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for Greg! Hope you are enjoying this wonderful summer weather. I was out of the office for a couple weeks and I returned refreshed and relaxed. We have hired a social studies teacher and an orchestra director. Also, I'm still searching for a Spanish teacher (full time). If you know of anyone who might be a top-notch addition to the Cathedral community, please have them contact me.
