Prom After Hours
Council is sponsoring a party for all juniors and seniors after Prom at
the Skatin Place. The cost is $15 and includes unlimited pizza, pop,
bars, Laser tag, dancing and bingo with prizes as well as drawings for
cash prizes for those in attendance. This party provides a gathering
place for your student that is safe and alcohol free. The committee has
been meeting all year to plan this event and we are hopeful parents will
discourage their child from hosting a party at their house. Or if they
choose to do so, we are hopeful the party would start AFTER the Skatin
Place party, or at least wait until 1:30 or 2am
to have students come for a sleepover. Also, please consider paying
for your student's $15 ticket. Any cash or gift card donations can be
dropped off with Rose in the Main office. Thank you so much for your
support. We are hoping a big attendance this year will set the wheels
in motion for the After Party to be a successful annual event. Thank
From Mrs. Mugge: The parents of students going on the German trips this summer will meet next Monday OR Tuesday in my room at 6:30.
They only need to attend one of the meetings and student attendance is
optional. We will discuss schedules to and from the airport, airline
information, emergency information, packing, and the behavior contract.
For Senior Parents:
Please read carefully the following reminders for graduation week for
seniors. We are approaching graduation week very soon and we need
everyone to get these things done!!
Please see the letter below from the Decorating Committee. (You
only need to submit one or two enlargements!) Please make sure your
senior is represented.
2. We are missing a large number of registrations. A separate email went out Monday to those who still need to register their senior. Please turn it in!
Please submit your getaway permission slip for Cragun’s. If your
child wants to golf or foot golf, they must sign up in advance using the
forms provided in the senior packets from February.
Lastly, we are still in need of parent donations! While the business
community helps contribute, parent contributions are down this year.
PLEASE consider a cash donation to this safe, memorable and FUN event
for your son or daughter! Checks may be made out to CHS All Night Grad
party and sent to the office at school.
We appreciate your timely cooperation!

Dear Parents of Class of 2016:
from the Decorating Committee for the all night grad party. We need
your help. ENLARGEMENTS AND POSTERS OF YOUR KID AND FRIENDS NEEDED!
past years the venue has been decorated with 8-10 small pictures from
the family of each graduate. This year we are NOT doing picture
decorating that way. Instead we would appreciate if your family would
DONATE at least 1-2 enlargements (minimum of 8x10 but the bigger, the
better) of senior activities. These can be from elementary on up
to high school and should include at least one senior in each picture.
We DON'T want the formal pics that teams take, we are looking for
candid, fun shots. This is not a surprise so have your senior help you
find some fun pics!
Examples: Grade school graduations or First
Communion of CHS seniors, bus rides, team dinners, Halloween parties,
Voyageurs, Rome or Spain trip, school dances (i.e., Snodaze, prom,
homecoming), play practice, informal gatherings at houses, as fans at
all sporting events or activities, clubs, etc. There are really too
many to mention but that gives you an idea.
Your picture will NOT be
returned. However, if your senior wants to find the picture and take it
back home, they are responsible for doing so. End of the night the
seniors can take pictures off the wall. This is a very inexpensive
way to help out all night party budget.Examples at area photo labs:
Sam's Club $1.58 for 8x 10 11 x 14 for $3.96 16x 20 for $6.96
Target $2.89 for 8x 10 11x14 for $8.79 16x 20 for $19.79
Walgreens $3.99 for 8x 10 enlargements and posters from $10.99
Most of the time the photo labs can be done in one hour
and many can be placed online to pick up at a later date. Most of the
time they can make a print from the small print that you have. All of
these photo places are very willing to help you place your order. The
above named were the ones I could find online.
We need these dropped at school no later than MAY 20!!!!
Any questions? Please contact email@example.comThanks in advance for making this a memorable night!
spring arrived, the annual Nerf Wars started. Please remind your
students that these games must be played safely. We are all too aware
that two Minnesota teens lost their lives a year ago while playing Nerf
games. I have had people express frustrations about students running
through yards and being disrespectful when confronted. While I hope
these are not Cathedral students, I do know they are involved in these
Nerf Wars. This is not a school issue. We can urge students to play
safely and courteously, but ultimately this takes place out of school.
Please have a conversation with your teen about how to play safely,
appropriately, and respectfully.
We need parent volunteers for prom (chaperoning, helping to set up). Contact Prom Advisor Nina Steil at firstname.lastname@example.org or 320-257-2143.
