Senior Parents, you will be receiving a letter about an important parent meeting on Monday, February 13, at 7:00 p.m. in in the Commons. A great deal of information about graduation activities will be shared this evening. Please make every effort to have at least one parent attend this meeting.
The Sno-Daze Dance is this Saturday (high school). The dance will have a jungle theme. Planners are looking for any kind of fake greenery that we can borrow. This would include large plants, fake trees, etc. Please click back to this eblast if you have an item or two that we could use. If you already responded to my earlier eblast, I passed that on to the decorators.
Our Fine Arts students are hosting a breakfast to help Holy Angels recover from recent water damage. The breakfast will be this Sunday at Holy Spirit Church, 8:30 - Noon. Adults are $8, Children, 12 and under, $5. Thank you for supporting the arts!
Prom dress exchange:
Bring in your used prom dresses and pick out a “new” dress at no cost. This dress exchange is open to everyone who is searching for a prom dress.
Drop off your used dresses in the office at Cathedral High School.

Important Date Change: Our next Middle School Band/Choir Concert will be on March 7, not Feb. 28.
Our Prom Committee met for the first time this morning. I know that students may already be shopping for prom attire. Please keep this dress code in mind:
For young ladies:
- Prom dresses should be modest and event/age appropriate
- Dresses should not be low cut in front or back or too revealing
- No cut-outs
- No two piece dresses with midriff showing
- No high cut revealing leg slits
- If short, no more than 2 inches above the knee
For young men:
Formal attire: tux, suit, sportcoat, or shirt and tie, long pants
Informational meetings for Solar Sound Marching Band are coming up on January 23rd at Apollo High School (Band Room) or January 26th at Tech High School (Band Room). Meetings begin at 7pm. Parents and students are encouraged to attend one of these meetings to find out all the details of what it means to participate in a premier summer marching experience. Summer marching band is open to all students grades 7-12. No experience necessary. Students do NOT have to play an instrument to be in marching band! In addition to the band proper and drum line, color guard supports the show theme by providing visual beauty with choreographed routines using colorful flags and costumes. Honor guard members introduce the band by carrying the banner and US flag. Come to a meeting to see what it's all about.
