A Message to Parents

Dear Parents,

Try this link instead of the one listed below: http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V6CPDSX .  Evidently it won't work when I copy/paste it, but it should work now because I typed it in. Sorry!

This is an important request from Cathedral's President Mike Mullin.  If you haven't taken the time to respond to this survey, please do so.  It's very important that we have your opinion regarding our student laptops.

Dear Parent of a Cathedral Student,
Please take a few moments to respond to a few questions regarding our Laptops for Learners program. We are in the fifth year of this program and we want your observations, suggestions, and recommendations. The survey instrument is hosted by a web site called SurveyMonkey; it is safe, reliable, and won't compromise your identity or the integrity of your computer/ device. We would appreciate it, where applicable, if both/ all parents would please respond but you will need a different computer for each person. You could work on it together if you'd prefer that approach -- or, just one parent could do it and inform the other(s).We hope to hear back from ALL parents, please. Here is the link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V6CPDSX . Thank you very much.

Bountiful blessings, Michael A. Mullin

Congratulations to our Dance Team!  They will compete in the State Tournament on Feb. 18 at Target Center.

The Speech team opened its season with an impressive performance - finishing 1st in the large school division at Albany.  Cathedral had seven individual champions among the 13 categories!

Rehearsals for the spring musical Hello Dolly! are underway.

The latest Counselor newsletter is now published on the Cathedral website. Here is the link : http://www.cathedralcrusaders.org/counselor-newsletter . There are many valuable items for parents in this newsletter! Viewers can read it online with live links (click on the rectangle in the bottom right corner to enlarge) or it can be downloaded from the link below the live version.

If your child received a letter from Laurie Keene in the Advancement Department regarding a thank you note to scholarship donors, please return this ASAP; it's not too late. This thank you may be dropped off in the Main Office.

Parents of Juniors: Once again, we will do some significant (2 full days) test prep before the April ACT test.  I went ahead and ordered books for all of the juniors because I saw them for almost half-price ($12 instead of $19.99). The small fee ($15) that we charge for this special prep allows me to purchase a few snacks for the students, and to give each of the teachers a small gift certificate. If you are wondering whether you should sign your student up for one of the test prep offerings that come to you in the mail, it's just not necessary.
