  1. Huy Vu (Will) Duong — Male — 12th Grade — Vietnam

What Cathedral staff members say: Will is a respectful and kind young man. He is intelligent and stays on top of his studies. He works well with other students and gets along with them very well. He was a pleasure to teach in the classroom and to coach on the basketball court.

  1. Homa Peyman — Female — 12th Grade — Afghanistan

What Homa says: I enjoy playing the piano and participating in Tae Kwon Do—I have a blue belt.  I want to study abroad to experience a new culture and build career opportunities.  I think a host family is the best English teacher I could hope for.  Share my leadership experiences with younger students.

What Cathedral staff members say: Homa will be returning to CHS as a Senior this year.  Homa has formed many positive relationships during the past year with Cathedral students and staff. When Homa isn't working on her studies, she can be found participating in many activities at CHS. We have found Homa to be quick with a smile or a helping hand.

Employment Possibilities

Cathedral has two lunch helper openings for the upcoming school year.  The positions involve doing dishes, serving lunch and helping in other ways in the kitchen.  The positions are from 9:00- 1:30 on student days.  The positions are open until filled and provide a great opportunity for adults to interact with our wonderful students.  Please stop by the CHS office (or send anyone interested) to complete an application.

Please note that student schedules will be mailed on Monday, August 6, 2018.  We are looking forward to a great year!
Enjoy the final days of summer!
