A Message to Parents
Hello Cathedral Families and Friends,
We are almost done with our first month of the 2018-19 school year and what a great month it has been. We are into our routines and are looking forward to the many great experiences ahead.
Homecoming is a few weeks ahead. You can find the complete list of dress up days and events for the week here. We are excited to continue many established traditions and to add new experiences such as an Alumni Reception and Mass and Virtual 5K Run (If you haven't registered for the Virtual 5K yet, do it here!) We hope you will join us for the mass if you are able and if you are an alum who is also a parent, and would like to come to the Alumni Reception before mass, please RSVP to Matt Meyer at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also hope to see everyone at the tailgate party and game on Friday. We are honored to have Sister Mary Jo Sobieck '87, a Cathedral Alumni and sports “celebrity”, with us in school on Friday and at the game on Friday evening. It promises to be a wonderful week. We hope you are able to join us to share your Cathedral Pride!!
Please note that our lunch fee collection program will be going online in the days ahead. We will send a separate email to all families with more specific information. We look forward to being able to monitor our accounts and make payments from the comfort of our homes.
We did practice our school evacuation to Rau Field today. We have been practicing our lock downs and fire drills over the past weeks. Preparation and familiarity will pay off if we ever find ourselves in one of these unfortunate situations.
Thanks for sharing your students with us. They are truly AMAZING!!
Have a great day!
