Fall Sports Information 2014 is available! The meeting for parents and athletes will take place on August 6. High School sports start on August 11and 7th/8th grade football, volleyball and soccer start on August 26. CHS students and alums who have formed a nonprofit organization called the Tanzanian Village Fund are hosting their 2nd Annual golf tournament on Sunday, July 20th at 2 PMat Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids. Please consider getting a team in this event or sponsoring a hole and support them in their efforts to assist those living in extreme poverty. Cathedral Baseball 2014 State Championship T-shirts are available for purchase online. Anyone can order them! Help commemorate the baseball team's accomplishment by ordering your shirt today. Please order byJuly 8th if you want to be included in the first delivery. Shirts will be delivered (at no cost) to the activities office for pick-up or can be mailed to your home for an additional delivery charge.

One of our 2014 graduates Gregg Boldt is a finalist for a full ride scholarship to Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, IL. The qualified applicants have their video submissions voted on and the winners chosen by popular vote. Voting happens through Facebook. Here is the link. Gregg would appreciate you taking the time to go in and vote for him. You do need to "like" Universal Technical to be able to vote. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful summer weather. I will be out of the office for a couple weeks. If you need anything, I do check my email regularly. Also, I'm still searching for an orchestra director (.5) and a Spanish teacher (.85). If you know of anyone who might be a top-notch addition to the Cathedral community, please have them contact me.
