A Message from the Principal
1. New families will be receiving a letter containing your username and access code for PowerSchool. With that information, you can set up an account which allows you access to your child's grades, lunch account information, attendance, and library book checkout. When you pull up the grade progress sheet, note that when you click on the subject grade, you will be taken to the entire listing of graded assignments and tests for that subject. If you already had a student at CHS, new students were added to that account. These letters were sent out today, so look for it to arrive within a day or two.
2. This year, our students have the opportunity to order a sub/sandwich for after school through our new salad/sandwich line. They may stop down in the morning before school or during lunch time to place their order, and it will be waiting for them after school. These may be charged to their lunch account. The a la carte window is now open after school also, so that students may purchase snacks.
3. The CHS Tackle Cancer football game is Sept. 19. Tackle cancer shirts are available for $10, sold at lunch from Thurs 9/11til next Friday 9/19. Contact a senior football player. Proceeds go to Randy Shaver Tackle Cancer Foundation. If shirts are left, they will be sold that night at the football game.
