Holy Spirit Church/Boy Scout Troop 18 is having a fundraiser at Panera Bread on Oct. 8, 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Panera will donate a percentage of its sales during that event to the troop when you show their flyer. This eblast does not handle attachments, so these flyers will be available in our Main Office.
The eighth annual China Town Hall meeting, coordinated by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR) onOctober 16in over 70 cities throughout the U.S., will open with a live webcast featuring President Jimmy Carter, 39th president of the United States, who will discuss U.S.-China relations. We will be hosting the webinar here at Cathedral. President Carter’s talk will be followed by an on-site public lecture by Kongli Liu, Associate Director of Academic Programs at the U.S.- China Institute at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Mr Liu has more than 10 years of experience in designing and implementing educational and cultural exchange programs between American and Chinese universities and K-12 schools. A reception will be held after the talk.

A reminder that we are a Peanut and Tree Nut Safe School. Please read the labels on anything that you send to school, either in your child's cold lunch or for any event.
1. All senior pictures must be in by November 1. The yearbook staff says the earlier, the better! Pictures need to be at least 300 DPI, color or black & white. The photo must be appropriate for the Cathedral yearbook (not provocative or too revealing). These may be sent via email, disk, flash drive, or paper copy to email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org. The picture will be placed in a 3 X 3 box. If the picture does not fit, the yearbook staff will crop to the necessary size.
2. Senior baby ads for the yearbook are also due Nov. 1.
