A Message to Parents

Dear Parents,

Next week is Catholic Schools Week - an annual event during which we celebrate all of the good things about Catholic education.  To name just a few:

Catholic Identity: prayer and scripture daily, weekly Mass, Catholic           spirituality is at the heart of our mission.

Academic Rigor: high ACT scores, strong prep for college

Small school, small class sizes: 655, average class of 22

     Safe environment: misbehavior is rare.

On Tuesday evening, we are hosting an excellent speaker on a very relevant topic: Erin Walsh will be speaking about "Raising Children and Teens in the Digital Age."  We will serve a light chili supper for parents ahead of this event, starting at 5:30 pm.  Erin, who is an expert in this field, will speak in Holy Angels at 7:00 pm.  I'm hoping that every parent is planning to attend! Come early, eat and socialize with other parents.

On Wednesday, we will all be traveling out to St. John's to celebrate Catholic schools at a Mass with Bishop Kettler at noon.  We ask that students wear either their blue Faith and Service shirts, or some Cathedral apparel, if they have it.

Thank you to the Sophomore parents who treated us all to pie yesterday!  We so appreciate these treats, and your continued support.
