counselors have met with all of the classes. They have handed out the
2015-2016 Course Book, identified new courses, made recommendations
regarding electives, and explained the registration process. Students
will bring home the course selection sheet for a parent signature, then
they will register for courses during school on Monday and Tuesday. For
the first time this year, you may finish this registration process
online if you wish. Starting Monday, Feb. 9, click on the registration
button on the front page to complete this process. We will have two
registration nights: Monday, Feb. 9, 3:30 to 6:00 pm (this is a time change from the letter sent home earlier), and Thursday, Feb. 12, 4:00 to 7:00 pm
- both nights in the Cafeteria. Registration nights are for new
families and parents who wish to come in to complete the process.
parents of junior and senior girls: As your daughter begins to shop for
prom dresses, please keep in mind that prom dresses must be appropriate
for a Catholic high school event. Although these dresses do not have
to follow the exact guidelines for daily wear at school, they must still
adhere to the following guidelines. Strapless dresses are acceptable
for this formal dance, bu dresses may not be too low cut or too short.
Bare midriff or bare backs are not acceptable. If you are unsure about
whether or not a dress is acceptable, then either do not purchase it,
or take a picture with the dress on and email it to Mrs. Fasching for
prior approval. A student wearing a dress that is not appropriate will
be asked to go home and change. We would like to avoid this if
possible, so please keep this information in mind before purchasing a
dress. Thank you in advance! - Mrs. Fasching
McMorrow will be meeting with sophomore students and parents who are
interested in learning more about the 2016 Africa trip. The meeting is
on Monday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 in the CHS library.
Senior Parents: It's hard to believe your children are beginning the
last semester of their Senior year. There is a meeting on Monday, Feb. 9
at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria for the benefit of senior parents.
Important information related to the Baccalaureate Mass, Senior
Getaway, Senior Breakfast, Awards Assembly, Graduation Ceremony, and the
All Night Grad Party will be shared at this meeting. Many of the
activities are organized by volunteers, so knowing the deadlines and
getting forms, photos, and other items back in a timely manner is
appreciated. It is highly recommended that at least one parent attend this meeting.
Inspired and informed by Catholic tradition, our
mission is to educate people while inspiring them to virtuous lives.
