A Message to Parents

Dear Parents,

The St. Cloud Times is doing a Best of Central MN and there is a new category for schools this year.  I hope everyone will click on this link and vote for CHS as the best high school in the area! Let's win this!

Cathedral Summer Camps: Regisrations are being accepted for Summer Camps 2015 here at Cathedral.  There are a variety of sports camps, plus a new art camp, science camp and more. Camps are open to everyone. Click on "Summer Camps" on the front page of our website: www.cathedralcrusaders.org

Cathedral's 2015 "Carnival" Prom is Saturday, May 9.  Doors will open at 5:30 for both parents and prom participants.  Our Grand March will begin at 6:00.  Parents are invited to watch the Grand March from the upstairs bleachers.  Students will be served dinner at 7:00, and then they can dance the night away until 11:00 pm.  Ticket price ($35) includes a nice meal, and we strongly encourage students to plan to eat at CHS.  Having a meal with the dance means less driving around. We want this to be a safe and fun evening for all.  For parents, that means knowing and approving of your child's post-prom plans.

We have been very clear with students about appropriate prom attire.  We just will not allow dresses that are too revealing.  This year that includes a new two piece style with bare midriff (not allowed).  Dresses cannot be too low cut, front or back, too short, or too bare.  We trust that parents will not allow our young women to come to prom in something inappropriate, which means that we would need to send them home to change.

It's never too late to join orchestra.  If your student has an interest in the violin, viola, cello, or bass, please encourage them to consider joining orchestra next year.
