A reminder from the organizers of the Senior All-Night Party: Doors open at 9:30 pm and all students are expected to arrive by 10:30. Seniors should be picked up by a parent - please don't expect them to drive home after they have been up all night - between 5:15 and 5:30 am.
we approach the time to turn in laptops, please make sure that your
student has all of the extra pieces that originally came with the
laptop. These include the case and pocket, the case strap, the power adapter, a duckhead, and an extension cord. Students will be charged for missing pieces.
the same time that you are gathering computer extras, please make sure
that all textbooks are returned to school. Textbooks are very
expensive, and your student will be charged for books that are not
returned. Check on any athletic uniforms etc. at the same time.
A message from Matt Young:
My name is Matt Young, and I’ve been teaching math at Cathedral for 3+ years. I’ve taught classes ranging from 7th grade Pre-Algebra to senior-level AP Calculus. I will be available this summer as a tutor for hire for students looking to improve their current math skills or to learn new skills in preparation for next year. If you are interested and would like more details (including hourly rates), please email me at email@example.com.Space is limited!
Thanks, and have a great summer!
Next Monday is our annual Lifeskills Day for Seniors. This day is unique to Cathedral. We spend a fun and valuable day teaching some of the life skills that we might have missed in our very academic program. We offer personal finance, automotive skills (how to change a tire), social dance, cooking in a dorm, interview skills, and many more. We are so grateful to the parents, community members, and teachers who come in to teach these classes for us.
Cathedral Summer Camps: Regisrations are being accepted for Summer Camps 2015 here at Cathedral. There are a variety of sports camps, plus a new art camp, science camp and more. Camps are open to everyone. Click on "Summer Camps" on the front page of our website: www.cathedralcrusaders.org
It's never too late to join orchestra. If your student has an interest in the violin, viola, cello, or bass, please encourage them to consider joining orchestra next year.
