There was a lot of action over the weekend, here is a brief recap:
The Football team lost a wild one on Friday night, falling at Princeton 35-28.
On Saturday, both the Boys' and Girls' Soccer teams beat Alexandria - with the boys winning 1-0 and the girls earning a 3-0 win. In the girls' game, Caitlin McMorrow and Katrina Nelson each scored their first varsity goals.
The CHS/SJP Girls' Swim and Dive team competed in the tough Buffalo Invite.
Sophie Titus paced the Crusaders with top 8 finishes in the 100 backstroke and 200 freestyle.
The Boys' and Girls' Cross-Country teams competed in the very tough Gold Division at the Roy Griak Invite at the U of M. Nick Golebiowski's 20th place finish pace the boys to a very impressive 11th place finish. Rachel Eickhoff led the CHS girls with a 34th place finish. Interesting note - the girls run 5,000 meters in this race compared to their normal 4,000 meters.
Greta Egerman and Lauren Stang had the top Cathedral finish at Granite Ridge Conference Girls' Tennis tourney - finishing second in #1 Doubles. The complete all-conference list should be out later today.
The Cathedral Bowling team fell to Sauk Rapids and Sartell in matches on Saturday.
And, the Volleyball team played well on Saturday, going 4-2 at the Pierz Invite.
Hope you got a chance to take in at least one of the events.
The Boys' Soccer team travels to Fergus Falls to take on Hillcrest Academy in a 3:30pm match.
Have a great day!
