Activities Update - 10/8/12

The Football team cruised to a 42-18 win at Milaca on Friday night.  Jeff Fasching threw three touchdown passes, giving him 960 yards passing and 11 touchdowns on the seasons.  Nick Manthey returned from an injury to rush for 121 yards and two TDs for the Crusaders, 3-3 on the season.

The Cross-Country teams ran in the very tough Lions Invite on Saturday in Alexandria.  The boys finished second overall as a team, paced by Nick Golebiowski's ninth place finish. Beau Gerding was 12th overall in the race for Cathedral.  Rachel Eickhoff finished 15th overall in the girls' race for CHS.

And, the Cathedral Bowling team lost to Brainerd 3-2 and then bounced back to beat Tech 3-2 on Saturday.

Today:

The Girls' Tennis team plays in the Section 5A semifinals today at SJU.  The Crusaders take on top-seed Annandale in a match that should start around noon.  A win would put CHS in the final later today.

And, the Girls' Soccer team closes out the regular season at Sauk Rapids at 4:30pm.
