Activities Update - 11/5/12

The Boys' Cross-Country team ran very well - in fact as well as they ever have run at the state meet - and finished second behind a very good Perham team on Saturday in Northfield.  CHS' had their best ever team average time at the state meet, paced by Nick Golebiowski's 4th place overall finish to earn All-State honors. Beau Gerding also earned All-State, finishing 20th overall.  On the girls' side, CHS' Rachel Eickhoff finished 16th overall - earning All-State Honors.  Congratulations to all on a great meet and season!

Austin Poganski is on his way to Switzerland to play with USA Hockey in the U17 Four Nations Tourney in Monthey, Switzerland.  Austin will practice and play three games this week before joining his CHS teammates for the start of practice next week.  Congratulations to Austin for being selected for this elite team.

In case you are wondering what is happening this afternoon, we are hosting a 7/8 grade Knowledge Bowl Meet here at Cathedral so there will be lots of students after school.

Today:

The Cathedral Math League team begins the season this afternoon with a meet at Albany.

Have a great day!
