Activities Update - 12/10/12

School is two hours late this morning if you hadn't already heard.

Over the weekend -

The Boys' Basketball team won a pair of games in Bemidji, beating Grand Rapids (ranked #10 in 3A) 80-73 in overtime on Friday night and out-scoring host Bemidji 94-85 on Saturday.  Brindley Theisen and Brady Schmit paced CHS on Friday night with 17 points each.  Schmit led the Crusaders with 27 points on Saturday and Brady Yoerg added 23 points for the Crusaders who moved to 3-0 on the young season.

The Boys' Hockey team lost to Rochester Lourdes 6-4 on Saturday in a match-up of top ten teams in Rochester. Will Hammer scored two goals for the Crusaders (3-2).

The Crusaderettes Dance Team finished 2nd in Kick and 4th in Jazz at the Benilde-St. Margaret's Invite on Saturday.

And, the Tech/Cathedral Gymnastics team finished 2nd at the Apollo Invite, just three tenths of a point behind perennial state powerhouse Roseville.  The Tigers posted a very nice early season score of 142.55  in the meet.

Tonight:

The CHS Bands have their Christmas Concert at 7pm in Holy Angels.
