The Softball team wrapped up the regular season with a 10-0 win over Zimmerman. Olivia Hoffman had three hits and drove in two runs. Maria Bastin tossed the shutout for the Crusaders who finished the season at 9-9. They find out their postseason seed tonight and start section play on Friday.
The Girls' Golf team won the Milaca Invite that was played in a 6-6-6 two person team format. Ann Berdan and Erin Stocker were the top team with an 82 and Kelsey Osendorf and Greta Egerman finished second with an 84.
The Tech/Cathedral Boys' Lacrosse team beat Coon Rapids 15-5. CHS' Zach Affeldt had five goals and two assists and Corey Wheelock added three goals and an assist.
The St. Cloud Area Girls' Lacrosse team lost to Coon Rapids 18-1.
Bo Schmitz had two three-run homers and drove in eight runs as the Baseball team beat Zimmerman 17-1. Tommy McMorrow had three hits and four RBI and Brian Minks drove in three runs for the 14-2 Crusaders.
We do not have complete results from the Granite Ridge Track and Field meet yesterday - so we will share those tomorrow.
The Boys' Tennis team learned yesterday that they earned the #4 seed in Section 6A and will host New London-Spicer at Discovery in Waite Park tomorrow in the quarterfinals.
Yesterday, I listed 15 CHS grads who have competed in national collegiate tournies this school year. We found two more: Grant Wintheiser (Cross-Country - St. Olaf) and Mike Schuweiler (Soccer - U of M Morris). That brings the total for the year to 17!! Any more?
The Girls' Golf team hosts an 18-hole Granite Ridge meet at Wapicada at noon.
