It was a busy night last night:
The Volleyball team won a thriller, beating Mora 3-2 including at 15-13 5th set win. Rylee Medelberg recorded 15 kills, Jenna Januschka had nine ace serves, and Sophie Harris notched 30 set assists for the Crusaders.
The Boys' Cross-Country team finished third at the Lucky Lindy Invite in Little Falls. Nick Golebiowski was fourth overall.
The Girls' Cross-Country team was fifth in Little Falls, tops among Class-A schools.
The CHS/SJP Girls' Swim and Dive team lost to Foley 100-75. Sophie Titus and Lily Johnson finishing 1-2 in the 500 freestyle was among the Crusader highlights.
The Girls' Tennis team lost to Princeton 4-3 in a very good match at Princeton. Sarah Schmitz and Erika Barthelemy picked up singles wins for CHS.
The Girls' Soccer team played to a 2-2 tie with Princeton. Ellie Engel and Sophie Varner scored the CHS goals.
And, eight different players scored as the Boys' Soccer team beat Princeton 11-0.
The Boys' Soccer team has a fundraiser breakfast this Sunday in the commons. They will serve from 8am to noon.
The Football team travels to Albany for a big early season game. Kick-off is set for 7pm. If you can't make it, you can hear it live AM-660, The Bear.
The Volleyball team competes in the Sauk Rapids Invite.
The Boys' and Girls' Soccer teams host Sartell in a doubleheader at Husky Stadium. The boys play at 11am and the girls kick-off at 1pm.
The Cathedral Bowling team starts the season tomorrow at Great River Bowl in Sartell at 1:30pm.
And, the CHS/SJP Girls' Swim and Dive team hosts the Catholic Cup Invite at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Swimming starts about 2pm.
