It was a busy night last night.
The Girls' Soccer team beat Zimmerman 3-0 to move to 2-0 in conference play and 3-1 overall. Ellie Engel had the hat trick for CHS and Mo Schroeder recorded the shutout in goal for the Crusaders.
Nick Golebioswki finished fourth overall as the Boys' Cross-Country team came in 3rd at the Hopkins Invite. The Crusaders were the only Class-A team in the 17-team field.
The Girls' Cross-Country team won the Sauk Rapids Invite paced by three runners in the top five. Rachel Eickhoff (2nd), Paige Danielson (4th), and Morgan Durbin (5th) led the way for the Crusaders.
The Girls' Swim and Dive team fell to Milaca 98-78 at Tech despite many good swims from the Crusaders. Among them, Sophie Titus winning the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke and Lily Johnson winning the 500 freestyle.
The Girls' Tennis team lost to Foley 5-2. Greta Egerman and Lauren Stang earned a three-set victory at #1 doubles for CHS.
And, the Volleyball team swept Foley 3-0. Set scores were 25-12, 25-5 and 25-15. Rylee Medelberg had a nice all-around night with six kills, five blocks and five ace serves.
The Football team hosts Little Falls at 7pm at Husky Stadium. It is "Tackle Cancer" night and donations will be accepted at the gate. The Crusaderettes will dance at halftime as well. If you can't make the game, you can hear it live on AM-660, The Bear.
The Girls' Tennis team is at the Apollo Invite in the morning.
And, the Girls' and Boys' Soccer teams head to Bemidji for a late afternoon doubleheader. The boys' game will start at 4:30pm and the girls will kick off at about 6:15pm.
