Art Club is an after school extracurricular activity where students who have a mutual love of art come together. Students work in a flexibly structured environment on a variety of projects in a vast assortment of mediums. Clay, Stained Glass, Drawing and Painting are among the favorites. There are scheduled annual events that are always well attended and enjoyed such as the Pumpkin Carving Night in October, and trips to the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Institute of Art in the Spring. Art Club also creates murals that decorate the school itself and in the surrounding community like the one painted in the Spring of 2007 at the Flat Iron. Art Club is available to all Cathedral High School and John XXIII students.
Fees for the full year are $75.00 for grades 9-12, $60.00 for 7-8.
