Catholic Schools Week

Sunday, January 27th: Celebrating Our Parishes

  • Many parishes have a special mass celebrating our Catholic Schools.
  • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm - Middle School Youth Rally will be at Cathedral High School.  The theme "Dream Small" will be presented by Luke Spehar, a local musician and speaker.

Monday, January 28th: Celebrating Our CCS Community & Staff

  • 4:30 - 6:30 pm - Employee Appreciation Spaghetti Dinner hosted by Cathedral High School and the Catholic Community Schools Administration.  All faculty and staff are invited to take a night off from cooking and enjoy Vicki's homemade spaghetti served by our Celebrity Servers - Catholic Community School Administrators.

Tuesday, January 29th: Celebrating Our Students

  • CHS students do so much inside and outside of our schools to make our community proud!  Show your support of the CHS students by attending one of our many activities such as the CHS Band Concert or one of the many athletic events.  Those who can't make it to an activity show support by sharing some written words of encouragement with a student today.

Wednesday, January 30th: Celebrating Our Catholic Community

  • 9:30 am - All School Mass celebrated at Cathedral High School   Join us as our entire Catholic School Community comes together to celebrate Catholic Schools in our community.  Mass will be officiated by Bishop Donald Kettler.  A reception for visiting clergy and the Bishop will be hosted by the Theology Department and Campus Ministry following the Mass.

 Thursday, January 31st: Celebrating Vocations

  • CHS students will write letters of gratitude to individuals serving in a religious vocation during Theology classes.

Friday, February 1st: Celebrating Volunteers and Catholic Education Supporters

  • 8:15 - 9:15 am - Prayer Service and Breakfast for Diocese, Chancery, CCS, Faith Formation, and Parish Employees hosted by the Campus Ministers in the Commons.

Saturday, February 2nd: Celebrating Families

  • Students and families are encouraged to make some meaningful time and their Catholic Faith celebrate together.
