Catholic Schools Week

Sunday, January 27th: Celebrating Our Parishes

  • Many parishes have a special mass celebrating our Catholic Schools.
  • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm - Middle School Youth Rally will be at Cathedral High School.  The theme "Dream Small" will be presented by Luke Spehar, a local musician and speaker.

Monday, January 28th: Celebrating Our CCS Community & Staff

  • 2-Hour Late Start!  Sleep in a bit, and we'll see you by 10:08 a.m. - and drive safe!  Evening activities are still on as scheduled.
  • 4:30 - 6:30 pm - Employee Appreciation Spaghetti Dinner hosted by Cathedral High School and the Catholic Community Schools Administration.  All faculty and staff are invited to take a night off from cooking and enjoy Vicki's homemade spaghetti served by our Celebrity Servers - Catholic Community School Administrators.

Tuesday, January 29th: Celebrating Our Students

  • SCHOOL IS CLOSED DUE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES.  NO EVENING ACTIVITIES.
  • CHS students do so much inside and outside of our schools to make our community proud!  Show your support of the CHS students throughout the year by attending one of our many activities, such as a CHS Band Concert, CHS Choir Concert, CHS Fall Play or Spring Musical, or one of the many athletic events!

Wednesday, January 30th: Celebrating Our Catholic Community

  • SCHOOL IS CLOSED DUE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES.  NO EVENING ACTIVITIES.
  • Due to the weather, our All School Mass Celebration at Cathedral High School is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

 Thursday, January 31st: Celebrating Vocations

  • SCHOOL IS CLOSED DUE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES.
  • 7th/8th Boys' Basketball games are cancelled - and there is no practice.
  • 9th grade Boys' Basketball wil not practice.  V and JV will practice.  You should have heard from your coaches.
  • Dance team will have practice.  Coaches will contact with information.
  • Boys' Hockey will practice - coaches should have sent information.
  • Gymnastics will practice.  Again, your coaches should contact with details.
  • Still On: The Girls' Hockey team takes on Sartell/Sauk Rapids at Bernick's Arena in Sartell - JV at 5:25 and Varsity at 7:15pm.
  • Still On: Girls' Basketball is at MIlaca - C and JV at 5:45pm and Varsity at 7:15pm.
  • Still On: The Boys' Swim and Dive team hosts Sauk Rapids at 6pm at Tech.
  • Still On: Wrestlers host Sartell at Tech at 6:15pm.

Boys' Basketball game that was postponed on Tuesday has been rescheduled for Presidents' Day - Monday, 2/18 - at 3:30pm at Foley.

For all other activities, watch for communication from your coaches to see if your athletic games or practices will remain as scheduled or not.

Friday, February 1st: Celebrating Volunteers and Catholic Education Supporters

  • 8:15 - 9:15 am - Prayer Service and Breakfast for Diocese, Chancery, CCS, Faith Formation, and Parish Employees hosted by the Campus Ministers in the Commons.

Saturday, February 2nd: Celebrating Families

  • Students and families are encouraged to make some meaningful time and their Catholic Faith celebrate together.
