There is a meeting for sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in the Close Up trip to Washington DC on Tuesday morning at 7:40 in Ms Frank-Henrichs' room, C118.Close Up is a week long trip to our nation's capital taking place in February. Join students from across the country learning about our government up close. If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, please see Ms Frank-Henrichs ASAP for more information.

If you would like to meet with their representative, please sign up in the Counseling Office S116 and pick up a pass to get permission from your teacher to attend the meeting.

Homecoming will be upon us shortly. The dance will be on Saturday, September 22nd and will be at Atwood Ballroom at SCSU. Tickets will be on sale during Lunch A and B during the week prior to the dance. Tickets for freshman are $32 and tickets for 10th through 12th graders cost only  $10. The theme for the dance is Casino, so wear something classy.

Attention seniors - A reminder to check the scholarship board in the counseling office, S116 on a regular basis for new scholarship opportunities.

Attention Seniors - If you are still interested in participating in the Junior Kiwanis or Junior Rotarian Program, a reminder that the deadline is Wednesday, September 19th. The sign up sheet is in the counseling office, Room S116. Also, if you are planning to take the October 27th ACT Test, a reminder that the regular registration deadline is Friday, September 21st. Registration and preparation materials are available in the counseling office, S116.

Are you interested in using your math skills against students from other schools? Do you have some time available this winter?  Are you not afraid to try challenging math problems? Are you a student who has taken or is currently taking a college prep algebra or geometry course? If you answered yes to these questions then Math Team may be the activity for you! Practices begin Tuesday, Oct 2nd at 7:20am in Mrs Rueter's room S206. See Mrs. Rueter to pick up registration information.
