A strong, vibrant and improving Cathedral requires gifts of time, talent and treasure from individuals and community partners.  Thank you for your interest in learning how you can support us!

The Cathedral Annual Fund

As a nonprofit, private educational institution, Cathedral relies on donations from friends, parents and alumni to contain tuition costs and provide student scholarship assistance.  Our goal is to keep Cathedral affordable and accessible to all while providing rigorous academic programming, state-of-the art technology, competitive athletics, top notch fine arts programming and a variety of extra curricular activities for Cathedral students. Your gift to the Cathedral Annual Fund is needed and greatly appreciated.

The Cathedral Education Foundation

The Cathedral Education Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) charitable trust, separate from Cathedral. It was formed in 1978 by members in the community who saw the value that Cathedral has brought to our community, and wanted to ensure that Cathedral remained a strong, vibrant and growing educational institute for youth well into the future.

Run by a volunteer Board of Trustees, The Foundation serves as an endowed fund, working in perpetuity to provide Cathedral with program support and Cathedral families with scholarship assistance. There are currently 128 designated funds set up by individuals, families, organizations, and alumni classes within The Foundation, and it continues to grow each year.

The Foundation has distributed over $10,000,000 in program support and tuition assistance to date, and it retains over $10,000,000 in fund assets, distributing 5% of the assets annually.

For the 2019-20 school year, The Foundation will distribute approximately $540,000 in need-based scholarships to offset tuition for one in three students at Cathedral.

As the cost of education increases, tuition continues to increase, and there is a growing number of families with qualified needs that are not met each year. The Foundation aims to remove the financial barrier for all families with qualified need who wish to experience all that Cathedral has to offer.

The Campaign for Cathedral

The Campaign for Cathedral will bring the first new academic building to the Cathedral campus in over 50 years.  This building, which will connect the Center building and North gym, has been carefully designed to address all of the facility limitations currently felt with science, engineering and visual arts. It will also include a chapel, a community room facing the Mississippi River, and collaboration spaces on both the first and second floors. Its design encourages hands on learning, creativity and critical thinking among our students and faculty. This building addition is a necessary next step to give our students the opportunity to further develop key skills that will position them to make an impact on their local and global communities. Please help us finish the job so we can begin construction this year!  Learn more here.
