A strong, vibrant and improving Cathedral requires gifts of time, talent and treasure from individuals and community partners.  Thank you for your interest in learning how you can support us!

The Cathedral Annual Fund

The Cathedral Fund was established to assist in covering the annual operating expenses that are not covered by tuition income, which only covers a portion (55%) of the actual cost of educating our students.  Your gifts to the Cathedral Annual Fund are foundational to everything that happens within the walls of this great school, allowing us to:

  • contain tuition costs
  • offer competitive salaries and benefits to our top-notch faculty and staff
  • provide state-of-the art technology
  • provide rigorous academic programming
  • supplement fine arts and athletics
  • provide one-to-one laptops to students and faculty
  • maintain and improve our facilities
  • pay our heat, water and electric bills
  • and much more!

The Education Foundation

The Education Foundation is an endowed fund, like a savings account, which works in perpetuity to provide scholarship support for students. The Foundation is governed by a thirteen-member Board of Trustees, which meets regularly to take prudent action for the long-term strength and stability of Cathedral.  Our policy is to take a 5% annual draw from the assets of The Foundation so that hopefully the fund will grow a little bit while it is also helping current students.  Over $1 million in scholarships are awarded each year, benefiting 40% of the Cathedral student body.   Learn more here.

The Campaign for Cathedral

The Campaign for Cathedral will bring the first new academic building to the Cathedral campus in over 50 years.  This building, which will connect the Center building and North gym, has been carefully designed to address all of the facility limitations currently felt with science, engineering and visual arts. It will also include a chapel, a community room facing the Mississippi River, and collaboration spaces on both the first and second floors. Its design encourages hands on learning, creativity and critical thinking among our students and faculty. This building addition is a necessary next step to give our students the opportunity to further develop key skills that will position them to make an impact on their local and global communities. Please help us finish the job so we can begin construction this year!  Learn more here.
