Jim Henry Jersey Retirement

Jim Henry '69, had his jersey football jersey formally retired during half-time of the football game on October 12, 2012.

Some of Jim's accomplishments include:
-Three-year football starter on offense and defense
-Football teams he played on won 26 straight games from the time he was a sophomore, including going 9-0 his senior year when they outscored their opponents 450-20.
-Rushed for over 1,000 yards of each of his three football seasons
-Named Minnesota High School Athlete of the Year in 1968
-Recruited by over 60 schools, eventually heading to the U of M where he started on and off at running back for two years
-Was a State Champ at 165# in Wrestling his junior year.
-Won eleven State Track & Field titles while in high school

Some have described Jim as the best athlete Cathedral High School has had. Congratulations Jim!
