Welcome to Cathedral Knowledge Bowl!
We are excited that you are interested in being part of our club
Knowledge Bowl is a program designed to fulfill the need for student to more fully develop useful lifelong skills such as memory recall, critical thinking, socialization, and cooperation in a small-group setting. Students will participate through teams (usually six students) interaction in answering questions relating to a variety of academic subjects. As a team, they compete against other area teams to answer a series of questions at a Knowledge Bowl Meet. A typical meet consists of about 12-36 teams held at area junior high and high schools. Junior High Knowledge Bowl is open to any 7th-8th graders and High School Knowledge Bowl is open to any 9th-12th graders.
Junior High Knowledge Bowl season is from October-December. Practices are held on Thursday's or Friday’s during Guided Study time. Practices are held on Thursday's during 9th hour in the Conference Room.
High School Knowledge Bowl season is from January-March. Practices are held on Thursday's during 9th hour in the Conference Room. There will be a 9th-12th grade parent/student information meeting on Monday, December 5 at 6pm in the Library.
