On the outside of this envelope you saw, Deadline Approaching… Urgent!
We aren’t trying to be dramatic, just honest. Nearly eleven months ago we launched the leadership gifts phase of The Campaign for Cathedral… There is only one way this campaign has a chance of being successful – and that is if we’re able to sit and visit with you and about 200 others who are in a position to be leaders.
We have completed about 120 sit-down, face-to-face visits in the past year. Each of these visits has been cordial, informative, non-threatening, and enjoyable. We don’t twist arms. At the conclusion of each visit (less than an hour) we say, “it’s our job to ask and it’s your job to respond; thanks for letting us do our job.”
Throughout the last seven years as we’ve worked diligently, carefully, and respectfully on this project we’ve received overwhelming positive support, sometimes approaching 100% approval. Whether Cathedral moves forward, becomes bigger, and becomes stronger is now up to you. There is very little more we can do.
So, most respectfully, will you please let us sit to visit with you sometime within the next thirty days? We can do it here on campus, in your home or place of work, or wherever it would be most comfortable for you. If we need to jump on a plane we will.
Please help Audrey to find us a mutually convenient time and place: 320-257-2140
