Bernick Family Foundation Scholarship

Minimum GPA 3.0. Must live in a Bernick Service Area. Attending a 2 or 4 year college, full-time enrollment.
Available Scholarships: 10 - $2,000 scholarships will be paid over 4 years with $500 being given each year, when maintaining a full time enrollment with a 3.0 GPA or better.

Bill and Joyce Coborn Memorial Scholarship

Employees of Coborn's Inc. or eligible children of Coborn's Inc. employees. May be a high school student attending a private school, a high school senior, college student or graduate student, full-time enrollment.

Brian Klinefelter Family & Law Enforcement Scholarships

Multiple scholarships available in support of local, county, state and federal law enforcement, firefighter and paramedic personnel. Must be planning to attend either a two or four year college. Requirements may vary depending on the scholarship applied for.

Dan Fouquette Scholarship

St Cloud Apollo, St Cloud Tech, Cathedral, Sartell, or Sauk Rapids high school senior majoring in Business or Finance, full-time enrollment.
Available Scholarships: 1 – Approximately $500 Scholarship 

Ernest Morgan Memorial Scholarship

High school senior planning on attending a four-year college outside of the 5 state area full-time.
Available Scholarships: 1 - $5,000 Scholarship

Greater St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation Scholarship

High School Senior, College Student, or Non-Traditional Student from Benton, Stearns or Sherburne County planning to complete a 2 or 4 year program at a college or university in Criminal Justice, First Responder including, Police, Fire Fighters or EMT – GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Available Scholarships: Multiple $2,000

John C. Sievert Memorial Scholarship

High school senior attending St. Cloud Technical and Community College for Water Treatment program, full-time enrollment.

Leo and Agnes Bauerly Memorial Scholarship

Minimum GPA 2.5, participation in 4-H, FFA or from a farm family. Be a high school senior from Foley, Milaca, Cathedral High School or St. Cloud Tech. Attending a 2 or 4 year college, full-time enrollment

Michael & Karel Helgeson Generations Scholarship (GNP)

Gold'n Plump Employees and dependent children who are attending a two or four year college full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Miller Architects & Builders Scholarship

High school seniors with a minimum of 2.5 GPA, planning to study Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting or CAD. Two or four year college, full-time enrollment.
Available Scholarships: 1 - $1,000 Scholarship

Terry R. Fox Scholarship

High school senior, dependents of full time First Byte Computer Inc., or DBA Computex employees, two or four year college or graduate school, full-time enrollment.
Available Scholarships: Up to $10,000 total scholarships.

General Scholarships 
All of the scholarships listed below must be applied for individually.

Affinity Plus Foundation Annual Scholarship Program 
The Affinity Plus Foundation works to engage, educate and empower individuals and communities. Through the Annual Scholarship Program the Foundation awards two $5,000 scholarships to incoming freshman coming directly from high school.
Eligibility Requirements include but are not limited to:
• Must be a high school senior in good standing
• Must be planning to attend a two or four year college or university for fall of 2020
• Applicant must be an Affinity Plus primary member, in good standing
• Will need to submit your most recent High School Transcript
• Complete responses to three essay questions.

Change the World Scholarship
The KCLD Playhouse and Deerwood Bank are offering a $2500.00 scholarship to a Central Minnesota High School Senior who is ready to CHANGE THE WORLD!
Important Details:
• Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Central Minnesota.
• Must submit an essay, of 104 words or less, explaining how you will “Change the World”.
• Entry deadline is 9am on February 3rd, 2020

CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital Health Care Scholarship provided by St. Cloud Hospital Halenbeck Fund will be awarded to students pursuing a career in health care. Payments will be made in two installments, directly to the successful applicants school.
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:
• Be a high school senior enrolling in a health care-related degree program
• Have a grade point average of 2.8 or above
• Demonstrate involvement in community, school or work activities.
Each Applicant must: 
• Complete an application and include all required documentation of school, community, volunteer and work activities and awards received in each.
• Attach current years transcript, including cumulative GPA.
• Attach a copy of letter of enrollment into the health care program.
• Attach an essay of no more than two, double-spaced typed pages. The essay should outline the following:
       • Applicant's career goals
       • Factors that influenced the applicant to choose a health care career.
• Application and required materials due no later than February 3rd, 2020

MN School Counselors Scholarship
Ten $500.00 scholarships (one finalist per each of the ten MSCA divisions) will be awarded to individuals pursuing post-secondary education at an institution of their choice.
Criteria to Apply: 
• Applicants must be a Minnesota public or private high school senior
• Applicants must submit a typed essay of no more than 500 words describing how a licensed school counselor in elementary, middle, or high school has supported you in at least one of the following areas:
    • Career Exploration
    • Social Emotional Development
    • Educational Planning
    • The licensed school counselor must be a member of MSCA
• Applications must be submitted on the awards portal by February 14th, 2020

Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarships provided by the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management
For incoming freshman accepted to the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota who demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills. Applicants do not need to join the fraternity to be eligible for this scholarship.
Criteria to Apply: 
• MUST be an incoming freshman accepted to the Carlson School of Management
• Have strong academic records
• Demonstrate leadership experience
• Provide ACT Scores from the testing authority
• Provide FAFSA information
• Complete the following three essay questions in a maximum of 250 words:
   • Write a note to your future roommate that reveals something about you or that     will        your roommate or us get to know you better.
   • Other than a relative, who has been an influential figure in your life that you look up to and why?
    • Besides a degree and academic achievement, what do you hope to accomplish or gain from your college experience?
• Students Do NOT have to be a member of Alpha Kappa Psi to qualify for these scholarships.
• Deadline to submit your application and essay is Monday, February 17th, 2020

AFA Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship Essay Contest
AFA’s Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship Essay Contest is an annual competition for college-bound high school seniors.  Applicants are asked to write a 1,200 to 1,500-word essay that describes the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on themselves, their families or their communities, and what they have learned in light of coping with the brain disorder. The grand prize winner receives $5,000, with additional prizes awarded for runners up.
Scholarship Deadline is February 28th, 2020

TIP•TOP•TUX Formal Education Scholarship
Every year, Tip Top Tux awards area high school students with a college scholarship. Last year’s recipients were chosen from over 1200 applicants based on academic achievement extracurricular activities, financial need and volunteer service in their community.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a high school senior
• Must have applied to a college or university for fall of 2020
• Participation in Volunteer and Community Service
• Participation in extracurricular activities
• Complete an essay
• Submit a completed online application

ZONTA Club of St. Cloud • STEM Scholarship Award
Recognizing young women pursuing a post-secondary education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The ZONTA Club of St. Cloud will award up to a $1000.00 scholarship to a local woman pursuing a post-secondary education in a STEM field.
Who is Eligible?
• A female senior enrolled in an area high school.
• Plans to pursue a field of STEM.
• Leadership roles in various fields of STEM.
• Volunteer activities related to these fields.
• Knowledge of ZONTA International and it’s programs.
• Application must be received by March 1st, 2020

George W. Friedrich Foundation Scholarship 
The George W. Friedrich Foundation is offering up to two $500.00 scholarships to a Lion's District 5M-8 high school senior.
To be eligible applicants must:
• Be a high school senior in the Lion's District 5M-8
• Be in the upper 50% of your class
• Plan to attend either a college, university or technical college
• Complete the application form and a one page typed essay on the topic "How you have, and how you will continue to serve your community and the people within it."
 • Must submit completed application and essay to the
Counseling Office no later than March 9th, 2020.

Project S.A.V.E. Foundation 
The Project S.A.V.E. Foundation, developed by the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club will award five $2,000 scholarships to local High School Seniors based on the following criteria:
• Participation in School Activities
• Participation in Volunteer and Community Service
• Attends a Central Minnesota High School
• Plans to attend either a two year or four year college or technical college
• Submit a completed application (using the form included)
• Submit a typed essay describing your candidacy as a possible recipient of Project S.A.V.E. Foundation Scholarship Award.
• Provide a recommendation letter from a teacher, counselor or principal on school stationary that validates the student’s application.
• Scholarship Deadline is Thursday, April 30th, 2020
