Scholarships for Juniors in High School
Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program: The Minnesota Association of Townships (MAT) is awarding six (6) $1,000 scholarships to juniors that plan to further their education at a college, university or vocational school. Applicants must complete the application form and submit it along with a written essay (450-500 words) discussing this year's topic: Sustainable Water: The Foundation of Minnesota's Environment, Economy, Health and Well Being. 2017 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. The Youth Tour is sponsored by electric cooperatives from all over the country. Last year over 1,500 delegates participated including 40 from Minnesota. The tour is a tremendous education opportunity and is supervised and staffed by the Minnesota Rural Electric Association and Minnesota Electric Cooperatives. The Stearns Electric Association will be sponsoring one student for the one week all - expense paid trip to Washington D.C. Scholarships for Seniors in High School
Tip Top Tux: Since 2011, Tip Top Tux has awarded twenty-six area high school students with college scholarships. The recipients were chosen from thousands of applicants based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need and volunteer service in their communities. 2017 Scholarship Application at: www.TTTuxprom.com/scholarship. Minnesota Women's Golf Association Foundation Scholarship: The MSGA Foundation Scholarship is an award of $3,000 per year, renewable for four years ($12,000). This scholarship may be applied toward undergraduate tuition, books, room and board.
• be in her senior year
• have a GPA at or above 3.2
• be a U.S. Citizen, and a female resident of Minnesota
• complete and file the FAFSA
• complete the MWGAF Scholarship Application
• be enrolled or about to enroll in an accredited college for four consecutive years
•be available for a telephone or in person interview

George W. Friedrich Foundation Scholarship: The George W. Friedrich Foundation is offering two $500 scholarships to two Lion's District 5M-8 high school senior. Submit application and essay to the Guidance Office, S116, by March 10th, 2017. Criteria include:
• Community service/activities
• Upper 50% of class
• Planning to attend a college/university or technical college
• Extracurricular involvement

Zonta Club of St. Cloud, Young Women in Public Affairs Award The Zonta Club of St. Cloud will select a winner from area high schools and award the winner $500. That winner will advance to the District competition level. The District winner will receive a $1,000 award and be entered into the International Contest. Central Minnesota Farm Show Agriculture Scholarship This award ($500) is made possible through the St. Cloud Area Chamber's "Unite for Success Scholarship Program". Students applying for this award must be planning to study an agricultural-related or forestry major. Other considerations include volunteerism, leadership, extra-curricular and community service activities. Sanford Health Network Chairman's Challenge Scholarship High school students develop a plan to attract more students into health careers in rural settings. Format of plan is up to you.
