Scholarships for Seniors in High School

Kiwanis Educational Foundation Inc. $950.00 Scholarship available for any students planning to attend a college or university located in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Superior Wisconsin.
All required application materials are due in the counseling office no later than
Friday, January 12th, 2018.

Community Giving / CMCF Scholarships, Due March 1st  2018
Multiple local scholarships available to area high school seniors. Students must create a Scholarship Account with the Community Giving Foundation and complete all application requirements online. Click here for general scholarship information: https://www.communitygiving.org/applyforscholarships 
CMCF Scholarships:
• Arthur A. Cater Scholarship - For Students attending St. Cloud Technical and Community College, full-time enrollment.

Bauerly (Agnes and Leo) Scholarship - Minimum GPA 2.5, participation in 4-H, FFA or from a farm family. Attending a 2 or 4 year college, full-time enrollment required. 1 - $1,000 Scholarship

• Bernick Family Foundation Scholarship - Minimum GPA 3.0. Must live in a Bernick Service Area. Attending a 2 or 4 year college, full-time enrollment.
Available Scholarships: 10 - $2,000 scholarships will be paid over 4 years with $500 being given each year, when maintaining a full time enrollment with a 3.0 GPA or better.

• Coborn (Bill and Joyce) Memorial Scholarship - Employees of Coborn's Inc. or eligible children of Coborn's Inc. employees. May be a high school student attending a private school, a high school senior, college student or graduate student, full-time enrollment.
10 - $1,000 Scholarships

• Fouquette (Dan) Scholarship - St Cloud Apollo, St Cloud Tech, Cathedral, Sartell, or Sauk Rapids high school senior majoring in Business or Finance, full-time enrollment.
1 – Approximately $500 Scholarship 

• Fox (Terry R.) Scholarship - High school senior or college student, dependents of full time First Byte Computer Inc., or DBA Computex employees, two or four year college or graduate school, full-time enrollment. Up to $10,000 in total scholarships.

• Michael & Karel Helgeson Generations Scholarship (GNP) - Gold'n Plump Employees and dependent children who are attending a two or four year college full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.  20 - $2,000 Scholarships

• Hilger (Andy and Carol) Pro-life Scholarship - Prolife high school seniors or college students in the St. Cloud Diocese area. Minimum GPA 2.5. Full-time enrollment in a two or four year college. 1 - $1,000 scholarship is available

• Klinefelter (Brian) Family Scholarship - Multiple scholarships available in support of local, county, state and federal law enforcement, firefighter and paramedic personnel. Must be planning to attend either a two or four year college. Requirements may vary depending on the scholarship applied for.  2 - $1,000 & 1 - $500 scholarships

• Miller Architects & Builders Scholarship - High school seniors with a minimum of 2.5 GPA, planning to study Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting or CAD. Two or four year college, full-time enrollment. 1 - $1,000 Scholarship

• Morgan (Ernest) Scholarship - High school senior planning on attending a four-year college outside of the 5 state area full-time. 1 - $5,000 Scholarship

• Seivert (John C.) Memorial Scholarship - High school senior attending St. Cloud Technical and Community College for Water Treatment program, full-time enrollment. 


Minnesota Masonic Charities Scholarships is offering multiple scholarship awards to high school, undergraduate and vocational students. NO Masonic affiliation is required.
Application Deadline: February 15, 2018
Signature Scholarships - $5,000/year for up to four years. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.9 and ACT score of 29 and plan to enroll in a four-year college.
• Legacy Scholarships - $4,000/year for up to four years. Applicant must have a GPA between 3.9-3.89 and minimum ACT score of 25 and plan to enroll in a four year college.
• Heritage Scholarships - $2,500/year for up to four years. Applicant must have a GPA between 3.0-3.59 and a minimum ACT score of 22 and plan to enroll in a four year college.
• Vocational/Community College Scholarship - $1,000/year for up to two years. For Minnesota high school graduates planning on attending a two-year higher education program.

CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital Health Care Scholarship provided by St. Cloud Hospital Halenbeck Fund for students pursuing a career in health care.
Eligibility and application requirements:
• Be a high school senior enrolling in a health care-related degree program
• Have a grade point average of 2.8 or above
• Demonstrate involvement in community, school or work activities

Tom Bearson Foundation Scholarship Program offered by the Tom Bearson Foundation, will be offering two scholarship opportunities to high school seniors who are involved in sports and plan to pursue a degree at either a two or four year post-secondary institution.   
Tom Bearson Spirit Award Scholarship Details: 
• One $1,500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a Central Minnesota Student Athlete who shows dedication and a positive spirit. 
• Must have been a member of a Central Minnesota boys or girls sports team in 2017-2018 school year. 
• Complete application and personal essay due no later than May 15, 2018.

Tom Bearson Cathedral High School Senior Scholarship Details: 
• One $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a Cathedral High School Senior Varsity Athlete. 
• Must have been a member of a Cathedral High School Varsity sports team in the last two years. 
• Complete application and personal essay due no later than April 15, 2018.

Minnesota Women's Golf Association Foundation scholarship for high school senior girls who plan to enroll in a four year college program.
Requirements:
• Must be in her senior year of high school.
• Must have a GPA of 3.2 or above (submit transcript with ACT or SAT scores)
• Be enrolled or about to enroll in an accredited college for 4 consecutive years.
Completed Application due by March 31, 2018.

Clean Air Choice Biodiesel Essay Scholarship provided by the American Lung Association and the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council for Minnesota high school seniors planning to attend a postsecondary education.                                               
Important Details:  
• Two awards will be given: $1,000.00 (1st Place) & $500.00 (2nd Place) 
• The scholarship application is due by 4:30pm on Friday, March 31, 2018.

Young Women in Public Affairs Award offered by the Zonta Club of St. Cloud, District &  International Scholarships. Recognizing young women for their demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to public service.
Eligibility Requirements: 
• Offered to women who are pre-university or pre-college students (ages 16-20) at the time of application.

Zonta Club of St. Cloud, STEM Scholarship to be awarded to recognize young women pursuing post-secondary education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Important Details:
• Must be a female high school senior at the time of this application
• Plans to pursue a field in STEM
• Volunteer activités related to STEM

Rove Pest Control Scholarship open to all high school students and graduates nationwide who have been accepted to a college or university. Special consideration will be given to applicants pursuing a degree in entomology or a related field.
Important Details:
• A one time award of $500.00 will be given fall semester of 2018.
• The scholarship application is due, in full, by December 31, 2017
• Applicant must be accepted to a college and enrolled in courses full time.
• Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.

George W. Friedrich Foundation Scholarship provided by the George W. Friedrich Foundation, for High School Seniors who demonstrate strong community service and are planning to attend either a two year or four year post-secondary institution.
Scholarship Criteria:
• Up to two $500.00 scholarships will be awarded
• Completed application and essay must be turned into the Counseling Office at Cathedral no later than Monday, March 5th, 2018.

Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarships provided by the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. For incoming freshman accepted to the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota who demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills. Last year 7 incoming freshman were awarded between $5,000 and $20,000 in scholarships.
Eligibility and Criteria to Apply:
• MUST be an incoming freshman accepted to the Carlson School of Management
• Students DO NOT have to be a member of Alpha Kappa Psi to qualify for the scholarships
• Deadline to submit your online application and essay is February 1st, 2018
