The Breakaways Alpine Ski Team is a combined high school slalom ski racing team consisting of St. Cloud Cathedral, St. John’s Prep, Tech, Apollo, Sartell, Rocori, North, South and Sauk Rapids schools. Students in grades 7-12 are eligible. Practices are held at Powder Ridge and you must provide your own transportation to and from the hill, and to races. The season starts in mid-November and runs until the middle of February. We practice 2-3 times a week and usually have 8-10 ski meets. The registration cost is $600.
